  • Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile data: work experience, education, skills, certifications, and other resume-related content you provide.
  • Job application data: job descriptions you paste, cover letters generated, job tracking information, and interview prep sessions.
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Generate AI-powered resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation tailored to your profile and target jobs.
  • Provide ATS scoring, keyword analysis, and LinkedIn optimization recommendations.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, subscription updates).
  • Improve our AI models and platform features (using aggregated, anonymized data only).

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate OfferJetAI:

  • Supabase: authentication, database storage, and serverless functions. Your data is stored securely in Supabase-managed infrastructure (region: ca-central-1, Canada).
  • Anthropic (Claude AI): powers our AI resume generation, cover letter writing, interview prep, and other AI features. Content you submit is sent to Anthropic's API for processing but is not used to train their models.
  • Stripe: handles all payment processing. Your payment information is sent directly to Stripe and never touches our servers.
  • Vercel: hosts our web application.
  • Resend: delivers transactional and marketing emails (account confirmations, password resets, subscription updates, re-engagement, weekly digest).
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Conversions API: tracks page views, signups, and subscription events to measure advertising performance and build remarketing audiences.
  • Google Ads & Google Analytics 4: tracks page views, signups, and subscription events for ad performance, attribution, and product analytics. Enhanced Conversions sends hashed email addresses to Google for improved attribution.
  • Microsoft Clarity: records anonymized session replays and heatmaps to help us understand how users navigate the product. Input fields and sensitive content are masked by default; the recordings are not used for advertising.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use the following types of cookies and tracking technologies:

  • Essential cookies: required to maintain your authentication session and preferences. The site does not function without these.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity collect aggregated usage data (pages visited, features used, session replays) to help us improve the product.
  • Advertising & attribution: Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking record signup and subscription events so we can measure the effectiveness of our marketing and serve relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Hashed email addresses may be sent to these providers for Enhanced Conversions / Conversions API matching.

You can disable advertising and analytics tracking at the browser level using browser settings, ad blockers, or opt-out tools provided by the relevant networks (Meta, Google, Microsoft). Disabling these will not affect your ability to use OfferJetAI's core features.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Generated resumes, cover letters, and other content are stored until you delete them or close your account. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: update or correct inaccurate information via your profile settings.
  • Deletion: request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Export: download your resumes, cover letters, and profile data.
  • Opt-out: unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication via Supabase, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

OfferJetAI is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website.
